Adult Program

Columbia River Outrigger Canoe Club offers our year-round Adult program as a way to train and workout. The program is designed to educate adults in outrigger paddling technique, water safety, Hawai’ian culture, and canoe etiquette. The overall program encourages and empowers paddlers to strive to better themselves as well as be part of a team. Water time is an excellent place to get in-touch with nature, alleviate the daily stresses, enjoy the competitive nature of the sport, and get some great exercise.  We share our passion for the Hawai’ian culture, enjoyment of the water, and provide a caring, nurturing, and safe environment for people of all levels of paddling. Our long term goal is to continue to grow our Ohana and help paddlers excel in their enjoyment of the sport whether it is of a recreational or competitive nature.

Interested in joining us for a paddle? Sign up on the CROCC Calendar (follow instructions for first-time paddlers) and call/text the coach listed for that practice.

Every summer CROCC hosts Outrigger 101 workshop and clinics in August around the 3 Days of Aloha Festival with the Ke Kukui Foundation. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of outrigger paddling and its Hawai’ian traditions in a group setting.
